ArrowXL wins four-year delivery contract from Smeg UK

UK-based two-person home delivery firm ArrowXL has secured a four-year contract from home appliance manufacturer Smeg UK.

Under the deal, ArrowXL wil offer a range of delivery, in-home and recycling services to the customers of Smeg UK.

ArrowXL will exclusively provide platinum service to deliver Smeg UK’s larger products such as refrigerators and freezers to the customers across the country.

The company’s delivery services include specialist handling, assembly, installation and connection of high-value items.

In addition, the company will offer waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) recycling service for customers expecting the removal of any white good being exchanged.

ArrowXL is expected to make around 300 deliveries per week.

Smeg UK operations director Robert Ponting said: “We were thoroughly impressed by the development of the AskAxl app, which enhances consumer convenience and control. This ambition ensured that ArrowXL was the natural choice for Smeg UK.”

ArrowXL provides delivery and in-home services, as well as warehousing and fulfillment services.

 The company’s delivery services include next day, two-day and three-day delivery.

 ArrowXL also provides end to end supply chain solutions with short and long term storage options. In addition, the firm offers pick, pack and ship order fulfilment services.

Founded in 1989, Smeg UK supplies more than 750 products to the major retailers and distributor across the England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland & the Republic of Ireland.
